The ‘60s and ’70s were the golden age of the porn movie, as demonstrated by this rich volume of more than 150 saucy one-sheets. Some may find it titillating (the editors have thoughtfully made it light enough to be read one-handed), but it’s also an enlightening survey of an era where ‘stage’ flicks hid behind the ribald puns and half-hearted pokes at sociological relevance.

We’re mostly talking the seaside-postcard standard, but every now and then there are treats (“How far does a girl have to go to untangle her tingle?”) that make them it well worth splashing out on. Ahem.
